Kenneth Leishman was born August 29, 1978 in Picayune Mississippi. Early in life I moved around and eventually settled in Vinton Louisiana. I graduated in 1996 from Vinton High School and a few months latter joined the United States Marine Corps. In the Marines I rebuilt and test ran jet engines learning teamwork and small team leadership. In August 2002 after six years I was honorably discharged with multiple commendations and medals. For the next few years I sought to find myself and eventually decided a career in computer animation would fulfill a lifelong dream of mine to work in the movie industry in special effects. Throughout most of my life i have been building plastic models, progressing to the point of winning competitions for my work. I decided to attend school in Tampa Florida at the International Academy of Design and Technology, Graduating in September 2008. In July 2008 I started work for Sunshine Learning System. An intern at first, but progressing to art lead in charge of developing 2D and 3D assets in various programs. Constructing the pipeline for asset creation, and storage, and leading production teams. During my time in the Tampa area I have learned a variety of new skills, I look forward to applying them in my future endeavors and careers of my life.
